Beef steak mushroom jerky

Equipment

  • 1 Food dryer or oven
  • 1 Mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 200 gram Beef steak mushroom

Marinde

  • 4 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp MSG
  • 100 ml Water

Instructions

  • Mix the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl.
  • Chop the mushroom in to thick slices.
  • Add the mushroom slices to the bowl, cover and put in the fridge over night.
  • Take the mushrooms out of the marinade and put the into a food dryer a 80°C for 12 hours. Alternatively an oven can be used on the same temperature.
